Last week’s community tree-planting event was a great success. An army of volunteers helped us to plant hundreds of trees.

We also beat most of the rain and figured out how to secure the biodegradable mulch mats with bamboo pegs.

And last but not least, we tried out the long-handled boot brushes and picks to get the mud off our boots. This helps prevent the spreading of diseases and invasive species to other trees.
